MELIS (Migration Environment for Legacy Information Systems)

On this page the technical reports and the supporting material of two controlled experiments performed within an industrial and an academic context can be found. The context of the first experiment was constituted of employees of a small software Italian enterprise, while the context of the second experiment was constituted of master students in Computer Science at the University of Salerno. These controlled experiments aimed on one side at assessing the usefulness of MELIS, an integrated environment developed as an Eclipse plug-in, and on the other side at verifying whether or not migration technologies can be transferred within productivity realities.
